What a great weekend of rugby in prospect. Dublin will be hosting no less than two rugby finals with three French teams involved and our very own Leinster. Over 70,000 people will descend for this great rugby festival including over 22,000 French supporters.

The Champions League Quarter Finals will be shown live in Rodys sports bar and bistro in Rathmines in glorious high definition!

It promises to be a cracking night of football here in Rodys of Rathmines, the best sports bar in town!

We have two Champions League quarter finals with the highlight being Paris Saint Germain vs Barcelona or Ibrahimovic v Messi as some pundits are calling it.  You can watch this one live in Rodys and also keep on eye on the other big game featuring Bayern Munich vs Juventus.

The match programme starts at 7pm with kick-off in both games at 7.45pm

Well its snowing again! And in Ireland that can mean only one thing – it’s springtime and Easter is upon us. It also means it’s time to get ready for a big eggstravaganza (sorry!) in Rody Bolands this Easter weekend.

The entertainment schedule will be cracking with live music, late bars and general non-stop partying which is guaranteed to make you forget about the cold.

• We kick off with the superb Turlough Trad Band on Thursday night who are always drawing a big crowd and will make sure your last night before your enforced Good Friday penitence and abstinence will be a devilishly good one.

• We resume then with a vengeance on Easter Saturday with music DJ and late bar until 3am – a treat you can allow yourselves after being such good boys and girls the day before

• Then on Easter Sunday you may wish to experience a superlative Sunday brunch cooked by an award-winning chef right here in Rody Bolands.

• Later that night the legendary Buggy Boys play (see them play in this video on our entertainment page here) and they will be rocking the place until 11am. We don’t stop there…the party will continues into the early hours with live DJ until late!
